in goodvintage condition

surface scratches, dents and dingsand an overall dulling / matte surface. it's possible it has/had a plating over it that is giving it the darker hue and inconsistent finish. this seems the case if you examine the individual links in perfect lighting, but it isn't noteworthy when worn.

the clasp is a replacement and isn't a perfect hue match, but it's sturdy and functional

it's adarker greyhue of sterling silver, which hides any surface scratches or dings

some stubborn patina spots throughout the links
